In the first book of the Bible we see the story of how sin entered the world through Adam and Eve’s actions. This sin has separated all mankind from God. But God, because of His great love for us, chose to begin a rescue mission that would restore what sin had broken. This plan of redemption is woven throughout all of Scripture and the history of mankind. Throughout our time in the gospel of Luke, we will see God’s rescue plan unfold; from the promises of God in the OT, to the promises that were fulfilled in Christ; from the birth of a Savior who would redeem His people to a King who would conquer death forever, God’s plan is woven through all of history. It is our prayer that your faith would be strengthened as you experience the love of God that is deeper than the oceans and that you would experience hope as you see the amazing plan God has for those He calls His children.
