Joshua Singleton
Lead Pastor
Joshua was called into ministry the summer after high school. He was at a massive summer camp and saw hundreds of students there. He realized there was a huge need for discipleship. This made him feel a strong pull and a strong desire to serve in ministry. After that, he started studying biblical theology. In 2008, he joined the Air Force where he worked in civil engineering. He served in the USAF for just over 4 years. While in the USAF, he resumed studying theology at Liberty University. He graduated from Liberty University with a BS in Religion and Biblical Studies, and earned his M.Div in Great Commission Studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Allison have been married since 2007. Joshua and Allison spent about 7 years living in Washington state (4 of those years while in the USAF). They now live in Richmond with their five kids. Joshua likes to read books on theology and church ministry. He also enjoys comics, Star Wars, golfing, and watching movies with his family.

Chad Pentecost
Pastor
Pastor Chad, one of our lay pastors on the Elder Team and the co-leader of our Bible Study Groups. He graduated from Purdue University with honors, earning a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Since 1999, he’s been a pharmacist in our community. At just 27, Chad had a life-changing encounter with Jesus. Soon after his salvation, he met his wife, Tiffani. They tied the knot in 2003 and have three incredible children. Chad has always been a voracious learner. After being saved, his focus shifted to Scripture, theology, apologetics, and historical narrative. When he’s not working in healthcare, Chad enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, hiking, cycling, and playing with his kids. He also loves reading fiction and enjoys authors like Lewis, Tolkiens, Dickens, Dostoyevsky, and many others. Despite his career in healthcare, Chad has always loved teaching others and has worked with people of all ages, from preschool to senior adults. He loves seeing his students discover new ways to apply the truths of Scripture. His calling to be an elder started several years ago when he was asked to become a substitute lecturer for a men’s Bible study. He felt God clearly telling him to move forward despite his fear of public speaking. As he has leaned on the Lord’s strength, Chad has discovered a love for delivering Christ-centered messages in an expository model of preaching. He divides his time now between work, ministry, and family.
