How it all started...
God’s work at Crosspoint Baptist Church is a story of redemption. In 2014, a dying church in Richmond, Indiana, closed, but its 12 members continued meeting and praying, believing God wanted to use their property. The state of Indiana agreed and led the group through months of preparation and prayer for a church replanter.
In 2015, two couples in Charlestown, Indiana, felt God’s call to church planting and replanting. Dan Conrades was approached about a legacy church plant in Richmond, which they believed was the opportunity they had been praying for.
Momentum grew as the Charlestown church’s ten-member team moved to Richmond in 2015, joining the twelve previous members. Twenty-two people prayed for God’s continued story in Richmond.
After much prayer, the core team named their new church Crosspoint Church, symbolizing change and new beginnings. They met, fellowshipped, reached out to the community, and redeemed empty rooms for God’s glory. By January 2016, they decided to launch on May 1st. The old Central members and Charlestown team merged, welcoming new faces to the replant.
After months of prayer, co-laboring for the gospel, renovations, and more, Crosspoint Baptist Church opened its doors on May 1, 2016, praying for people to understand the gospel and be transformed by the cross.

Expanding the vision...
At Crosspoint, our vision is to touch every corner of the world with the gospel beginning in our homes, throughout our community and into our state, nation and the world. We seek to live out Psalm 96:3 and see God’s name made famous around the world! We have five goals to make sure we live out our vision:
1. Grow through gospel centered worship on campus and in the home
2. Edify (build up) believers.
3. Develop and deploy leaders.
4. Develop and deploy believers to use gifts to serve the church & the world.
5. Engage our homes, community and the world with the gospel.
